ShowBab Al-Khair Volunteer Association is a legally recognized social organization established in Amman in 2008. It operates under the Law of Associations and Social Bodies and is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The association was founded to champion the creation of a structured and institutionalized volunteer framework—moving away from random or reactionary efforts. It has taken upon itself the mission of revitalizing the concept of empowerment within volunteer work, based on the belief that empowerment is a safeguard for communities. Empowerment ensures the full utilization of talents, resources, and experiences that may have been buried due to poverty, orphanhood, or other limiting circumstances. It also plays a crucial role in enhancing self-worth among vulnerable groups by transforming their sense of need into a drive to give and contribute. In alignment with its vision, Bab Al-Khair Volunteer Association actively attracts pioneering youth initiatives and programs that think outside the box and aim beyond intention toward sustainability. Our Vision Institutionalizing volunteer work and leading in providing educational and humanitarian services to help build a cohesive and compassionate society. Our Mission Delivering humanitarian services and programs for care and social development to empower and efficiently build the Jordanian community through effective partnerships.
